January Lockdown – No sweat, get healthy!
Well, actually, do sweat! This is the time of year when we all resolve to get healthy. We all know that exercise can improve our physical and mental wellbeing so, don’t let the lockdown get in the way. Focus on what you can do instead of what you can’t do!
There are many free online workouts and classes to enjoy. Alternatively, you can skip in the garden, do weights in your bedroom, dance in your living room or make use of the stairs to exercise. Also, make the most of your hour of outdoor exercise by cycling, running or walking …. all in a socially distanced, safe manner, of course.
Remember to take it easy at first if you are not used to exercising and to speak to your doctor before you start a new exercise programme, particularly if you have any underlying health conditions.
We are here to help you with any niggles that you may encounter along the way. Call 020 8977 3295 to make an appointment or to speak with one of our practitioners if you just need some advice.
