Osteopaths, Bones and Sunshine!
Easter seems to have crept up on us this year so below you will find our opening hours for the Easter period.
We also have news on how the spring sunshine and the right vitamins can help to keep your bones healthy. If you are taking part in the London Marathon or just enjoy the occasional run, we have advice for you on how we can help with painful shin splints.
And, don’t forget, whatever your favoured exercise or sport, our foot treatments are a wonderful way of keeping your feet in tip top condition so you can improve your performance whilst looking wonderful during the warmer months.
Easter Opening hours
Fri 25th March – Closed
Sat 26th March – 9am-5.30pm
Sun 27th March – Closed
Mon 28th March – Closed
Did you know that vitamin D and calcium are the two most important nutrients for bone health?
They help to build strong, dense bones in children and also help to keep them heathy and strong as we get older. Check out our latest blog on bone health and vitamins for more information.
If you’re a runner, sports person or walker, ignore the pain of shin splints at your peril.
Shin splints often begin as a dull, aching pain along the shin bone (tibia) but can progress to a burning pain, associated muscle cramps and a deep bone ‘ache’ if there is a stress fracture.
The team at Teddington Osteopaths will assess and treat your injury, identify contributing causes and advise on exercises and a rehabilitation programme to prevent further symptoms.
Early intervention means a faster recovery and less disruption to your exercise. Call us on 0208 977 3295.
The foot clinic practitioners at Teddington Osteopaths believe that a good all year round foot care regime and choosing the correct footwear will help to prevent foot conditions which, if left untreated, can develop into long-term problems. Also, giving your feet a little ‘TLC’ now will ensure that your feet are in tip-top condition for the ‘sandal’ wearing months.
So, if you suffer from corns and callus, athlete’s foot, fungal nail infections, ingrown toe-nails, etc give us a call for advice and treatment.
Our foot clinics are becoming increasingly popular and we are delighted to announce that we now have appointments available for either podiatry or foot healthcare on most days of the week, including Saturdays.
Call Teddington Osteopaths on 0208 977 3295 if you require any further advice. Happy Easter!
